Course Description

When an organization reaches a certain size and planning its operations is no longer completely synonymous with strategic planning. Separate, project/contract specific plans are likely to be necessary.

A Project or Operating plan is a document, or several documents, that together specify standards, practices, resources, specifications, and the sequence of activities relevant to a particular product, service, project, or contract.

This module explores the concepts and some of the contents expected of a Project Delivery Plan.

The biggest take away from this excellent module was, that stepping back, looking at the big picture, keeping things simple when elaborating the basic plans and most importantly, bearing in mind that whatever is done with regards to plans and procedures needs to be people-centered. My personal understanding is, that creating a safe and prosperous environment without addressing the needs of the entire 1st tier, 2nd, and 3rd tier staff will not work to one's satisfaction at all. On that I have to admit, that there is much more to Human Rights than I was aware of until I completed this module, so thanks for the in-depth elaboration. All in all, this had been a very revealing module, which is certainly worth going through again. Last but not least it was a great performance by the instructor!
